Our dispatchers are highly trained and experienced in medical air transport
and customer care, they fully understand the importance of your call. Every step of the way our dispatch specialists are monitoring your transport while in communication with you and the transport team. We stay with each patient until they have arrived safely at 8 -24 hours visual flight control service to their final destination.
AMBULANCE SERVICES
Punjtan Air & Medical Services serves the medical community with transportation services tailored to meet the specific needs of their patients. Our services include Mobile Intensive Care, Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and wheelchair accessible vans.
Basic Life Support:
A fully equipped ambulance with two Texas Emergency Medical Technicians.
Advanced Life Support:
Ambulance and staffing to include at least one EMT-Intermediate who has the ability to secure an airway through intubation, start i.v.’s and deliver baseline drug therapies.
Mobile Intensive Care Units:
Ambulance and staffing to include at least one Paramedic/ Nurse with the ability to do the same procedures as and nurse plus cardiac monitoring, cardiac pacing, and full drug therapies.
Wheel Chair Van Units:
Transportation available for chair confined person.
BURNED CHILDREN FOUNDATION IN MEXICO
The Foundation covers air-ambulance costs, including airport fees and taxes, coordinates inter hospital case documentation, emergency passport and visa waivers plus general logistics.
Our main assistance programs are:
(Burn Line) – A call center in operation 24 hours year round with nationwide toll free number for the report of burnt children requiring emergency assistance, medical and hospital reference and first aid information.
EMERGENCY TRANSFERS – For acute cases in air-ambulance under the care of specialized associated doctors, for the transport to burn centers in the United States and to specialized Burn Units in Mexico.
BURN SEQUELS – A rehabilitation program for children presenting physical limitations or contractures, deep scaring and/or risk factors deriving from burns. The Foundation coordinates 8 semesters out-reach clinics per year and a nationwide surgical program, with more than 5,000 children under surgical physical and psychological rehabilitation treatment.
MEDICAL TEACHINGS – For the training of local medical community, in advanced care of burn victims, plus internships, seminars and conferences. More than 20,000 doctors, nurses, paramedics and firemen trained.
MEDICAL SERVICES DEVELOPMENT – For the creation of dedicated care of burn victims. The Foundation created the first Burn Unit in all Mexico; currently 6 are in operation distributed along the nation, plus the first skin bank for burn victims skin grafting.
BURN PREVENTION – With a nationwide permanent campaign, trough schools, media and recreation theme parks. We have 2,800 instructors trained. The Foundation operates under regulation of the Mexican Private Assistance Board, Federal Internal Revenue Service and the National Center of Philanthropy, that certify our transparency and results.
