Steve chose Diamond aircraft for use at Midwest Corporate Air flight school at the start because they were selected by the Air Force for their initial pilot screenings due to their high safety records.

General information

The Gulfstream IV was introduced in 1985 and the biggest differences from the GIII are FAR 36 Stage 3 compliant Rolls Royce Tay 611-8 engine, a four foot longer cabin, and 340 nautical miles extra range.

The GIV has a large cabin, long range of 4,350 nautical miles (8,060 km) and the same comfort and design that characterize the G series.

We use ambulance planes and ambulance helicopters for various purposes. We can organise the transport of a patient who requires intensive care across continents back to Europe by ambulance jets or transport a patient on a shorter trip within a country by ambulance helicopter. Generally, we are able to supply an appropriate air ambulance within a few hours. In the field of medical transport logistics, we use air ambulances for the time-sensitive transport of organs, blood specimens and urgently required drugs and medication. Fleet: The King Air 200 Aircraft

The King Air 200 is a continuation of the King Air line, with new features including the distinctive T-tail, more powerful engines, greater wing area and span, increased cabin pressurisation, greater fuel capacity and higher operating weights compared to the King Air 100.

This Aircraft System Training is an interactive e-learning course. The course is developed for pilots initial and recurrent training. It provides system training by illustrations, photos, audio and text.  It is divided in chapters with multiple choice question to ensure that the pilot reach the target knowledge. After completion a course completion certificate will be sent automatically. 

The course covers all aircraft systems and it’s based on the 200. It is an extremely efficient way of learning the King Air, loaded with illustrations and hands-on training with the aircraft systems. Made by a King Air 200 / 1900 instructor with thousands of flight hours on the aircraft. Performance, Weight, and Balance, as well as walk around, is to be dealt with by the training provider for the specific aircraft used for training.License duration: 180 days

This type has been taken over and is partly built by RAYTHEON, USA. US-Mil. type: C-12.

Fleet: The Lear 60 Aircraft

The Learjet 60 is a mid-size cabin, medium-range business jet aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace in Wichita, Kansas, USA. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada 305A engines, it has a range (with 4 passengers and 2 crew) of 2,405 nautical miles (4,454 km) with NBAA 100 nmi (190 km) reserves, ISA.

This aircraft was first introduced as the Model 60 Learjet in 1993, and is the similar to the design adapted by Bill Lear from a Swiss military trainer in the early 1960s. The Learjet 60XR came as a derivative aircraft which took its first flight in 2006. The aircrafts are powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW305A engines that produce 4,600 lbs of thrust at takeoff. The cabin is the biggest of all the Learjet models, and can feature seven or eight passengers depending on the size of the divan.

The Learjet 60 is equipped with Pro Line 4 Avionics and is controlled by an Integrated Avionics Processing System (IAPS).  The Learjet 60XR is an improved version and is equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. It is a fully integrated suite with many key upgrades that truly separate the two aircrafts (see specifications for similarities).

Some of the key factors that set this aircraft apart from the rest of the class come from its cruise performance.  It can climb to a cruise of 43,000 feet in less than 14 minutes when loaded at maximum takeoff weight. It also boasts an aerodynamic design that was built from utilizing NASA and Boeing Tranair computational fluid dynamics to locate points of drag.  Using this technology helped reduce the overall drag by 4%.  It is also one of the most fuel-efficient jets in the category; while other models have caught up on speed, the Learjet 60 claims a substantial advantage over other models in fuel burned per hour.

Fleet: The Lear 55 Aircraft

Mid-size corporate jet. In service since 1981. New fuselage development of Learjet 28/29 Longhorn. A number of variants were produced:

  • Learjet 55B with modified wings and digital flightdeck,
  • Learjet 55C with delta fins and
  • 55ER for extended range.

Production ceased in 1990 and changed to improved Learjet 60 in 1993. 147 aircraft were built, in 1999 140 remain in service mainly in Europe and North America.

The Learjet 55 “Longhorn” is a low-wing cantilever business jet manufactured by Bombardier Learjet. Development of the Learjet 55 began in April of 1978, and its first flight took place a year later. Production and delivery started in March, 1981.

The Learjet 55 was later developed into the B Model, which featured an extended range and multi-tube EFIS cockpit. In 1987, the 55B design evolved to the Learjet 55C, with Delta Fins for stability and improved runway performance.Production of the Learjet 55 ended in 1993, with a total of 126 aircraft being built. As of 2018, the aircraft can be purchased at $1M or less. Today, it is operated as private transportation by Servicios Aéreos Profesionales of the Dominican Republic.

The Learjet 55 first flew in 1979 and was set to be the executive jet of the 1980s, but these days the Lear 55 sees regular use as a medical aircraft. Due to its spacious cabin, competitive fuel consumption, comfort, and facilities, pilots praise its capability in this regard.

Fleet: The Lear Jet 35 Aircraft

The Learjet 35 is known, above all, for its range. It can fly 2,056 miles nonstop. The Learjet 35 offers more than range: it has good handling characteristics, a low fuel burn, and fast cruise speeds as well.

A maximum of eight passengers can travel in the Learjet 35’s cabin. It is 12.9 feet long, 4.9 feet wide and 4.3 feet high. There are 40 cubic feet of baggage space, enough to hold about eight standard-sized suitcases.

The real strength of the Learjet 35 is its range, takeoff, and cruise capabilities. Two Honeywell TFE731-2-2B engines provide 3,500 pounds of thrust, allowing the Lear 35 to take off in 4,972 feet. Its maximum takeoff weight is pretty high as well at 18,000 pounds.

Components of these engines have been used on much higher-performing jets. Their pressure compressors were taken from the Garret 660-series engine, which is most notably used on 747s. The engine’s turbine components come from DC-10s, and the high-pressure impellers are modified versions of the ones used in the TPE 331 and T76 engines.

The Learjet 35 has a relatively long range for a private jet and can cruise at speeds as high as 451 ktas, or 424 ktas with four passengers. Fuel consumption is excellent: the 31A burns 197 gallons of fuel per hour.

The Learjet 35 has received some attention-grabbing honors since the first serial number rolled off the line.  It was selected for use as a military jet, where it now operates with the name C-21. It was the first private jet to land at Denver International Airport when their new runway opened, and it seems to be a favorite among celebrities.
